SHIPPING FAQ

Why do Shipping prices seem so expensive?

This is definitely the number one question we often get. And as both a shipper and receiver, we think it’s a very good one. As a small business, we definitely want to keep our customers happy. While at the same time, as a a growing young company we have to make sure that we also cover all of our expenses and costs when it comes to shipping. We honestly look forward to the day when growth and revenue allows us to offer more exciting deals on shipping.

We have learned that calculating shipping for an eCommerce business can be quite the daunting task. There is no once size fits all. You have to try and estimate both the weight of your products along with geographic locations when setting your shipping ranges. And all costs that we generate for our shipping are calculated through our Post Office business accounts.

I had someone once inquire as to why we couldn’t just stick it in an envelope with a stamp, which would lower the cost and yes it would. However because of the delicate aspect of items such as Sports Cards you really have to make sure that each one is packaged in a manner that protects it so that it reaches its destination safely and intact.

Is there anything else that affects the cost of shipping?

Yes. As mentioned, the weight of the package also has to be taken into consideration. All of our products/items are shipped in protective bubble type envelopes along with extra bubble wrapping inside the packaging.

Another very important aspect of shipping is Tracking which we add to every single shipment that we process. This protects both the buyer and seller throughout the purchasing process and once again ensures that what you purchased arrives at your home safely.

And of course like with anything in the retail market, the minute you add on something, there is a charge or fee.

What if I find the Shipping Costs are too Expensive. Are there any other options?

Every day we strive to find new ways to make sure that anyone who visits our online stores, can do so knowing that there are options available to ensure that we create an enjoyable shopping experience for them.
